About Linda Charles
Linda Charles is an established British contemporary artist celebrated for her bold mixed-media artwork inspired by music, film and popular culture.
After studying textiles and fashion at Heriot-Watt University, Linda developed a distinctive artistic style combining layered imagery, rich colour, texture and metallic detailing. Her background in fashion remains evident throughout her work and gives each composition a stylish, carefully constructed finish.
Linda Charles’s music-inspired art reimagines legendary performers, memorable songs and iconic cultural moments with a contemporary twist. Her work references artists including David Bowie, Amy Winehouse, Oasis, Elton John, Elvis and The Stone Roses, creating an irresistible combination of nostalgia and modern design.
