As part of his new collection for spring, innovative contemporary artist Dan Pearce has given us a dramatic 3D portrait starring The Joker, one of the seminal DC Comics villains. Creating the piece in three separate parts. Dan plays on the unpredictable nature of ‘the Clown Prince of Crime’ by using lenticular lenses to create an illusion of depth, allowing the image to shift and change as it is viewed from different angles. He has also departed from convention by allowing the paint to spill out onto the frame – just what the Joker himself might have done. Published as a 3D Lenticular Edition of 195 and measuring 22 x 30”, ‘Joke’s on You’ is a spectacular centrepiece which will delight comic book and movie fans, as well as art lovers.
